Right now there seems to be a population explosion among my students--you'd be amazed at how many are parents or soon to be parents. Their own parents are not overly supportive of them doing well in school which is a shame because these kids have intelligence. They just don't seem to care about learning. I was wondering why my comment wasn't on there today. It is sad that parents of high school students aren't a bit more involved. I'm guessing that their own kids would hassle them for coming in and helping the teacher.
