Custom Wallpapers

Tonight, I had a spurt of creativity — something I haven’t had in quite a while. I decided to showcase my most recent work by writing a new blog post — something else I haven’t had in quite a while. These images are custom wallpapers I made for my school. I’m hoping they’ll use them in the computer lab or something to add a bit of extra personality.

    I like the swirly one, Mike! By the way, I received an e-mail that you replied to my comment on Michael Hyatt's blog, but it won't show up on my screen. So, here's my reply to your reply: since our high school parents generally do not get involved with the school (unless their children misbehave), I would find it hard to round up volunteers. Count yourself fortunate to be teaching elementary.

    Thanks for the kind words, and for the comment reply. I was wondering why my comment wasn't on there today. It is sad that parents of high school students aren't a bit more involved. I'm guessing that their own kids would hassle them for coming in and helping the teacher. There's definitely less of that stigma with 8-year-olds. :)

    I'd love to, Jay. What is is for again? Is it something that you would tie to blogging in any way? WordPress has some great themes that I can easily modify to customize it for you. Do you have a web address already purchased?

    I teach the "lower" junior and seniors. Right now there seems to be a population explosion among my students–you'd be amazed at how many are parents or soon to be parents. Their own parents are not overly supportive of them doing well in school which is a shame because these kids have intelligence. They just don't seem to care about learning.
